Vi is the parent organization of ten exclusive continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) located in six states in some of the nation's most desirable locales. The corporate marketing team supports the organization's sales efforts through lead generation and lead cultivation initiatives.

 

Reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy and Marketing, you will execute initiatives within the following core Marketing areas: Brand, Media, Content and Field Strategy. This position has specific responsibilities in the areas of Integrated Creative Strategy and Channel Execution, Integrated Planning Support, Sales Collateral, Local Community Photo Shoots & Asset Management and Creative and Brand Guidelines.


Integrated Creative Strategy and Channel Execution & Integrated Planning Support

  • Acts as account executive and marketing consultant to each of the communities in the Vi portfolio supporting the strategic development of cross-channel marketing and media plans based on community objectives and business needs.
  • Briefs agencies and leads strategic creative development and execution of cross-channel communications including direct mail, email, print advertising, paid social, and billboard/out-of-home, TV and radio assignments as needed to support plans
  • Manages relationships, sourcing new resources as needed, for production-related services that support channel execution and proactively establishes cost and inventory efficiencies.
  • In partnership with Director of Brand Strategy and Marketing, establishes annual marketing budgets based on overall strategic direction and tracks spend to ensure annual spend is efficient and to budget.

Sales Collateral

  • Manages all aspects of strategic and creative development of sales collateral materials to support community sales and care team initiatives. Responsible for ongoing management of existing materials, collaborating with sales/marketing teams and communities to address ongoing needs to assess the effectiveness of materials.

Creative & Brand Guidelines

  • Serves as steward of all brand guidelines and documentation that establishes best practices for all campaign and creative assets, both at a community and corporate level
  • Ensures marketing compliance with internal legal department directives for all new asset acquisition; responsibilities include managing photographer and talent agreements, overseeing the maintenance of all stock licensing for materials and licensing for Vi assets

Local Photo Shoots & Asset Management

  • Sources photographers and manages local community photo shoots required for a single community effort to capture secondary common spaces and model apartments

 

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is required. Minimum of 5 years agency, marketing or creative department experience at a manager level. Must be able to travel up to 25%.

 

Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Strategic and analytical skills and the ability to take the lead in identifying opportunities for the team to make informed decisions.

 

In addition, you must possess:

  • Excellent communications skills, customer service and time/project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage agency partners and outside vendors as needed from project assignment through final execution. 
  • Working understanding of the print production process, electronic file format and overall timing needed for development, creative, and production. 
  • Ability to successfully build relationships internally and externally. 
  • Familiarity in logistics of direct marketing in compliance with USPS regulations. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel (intermediate + level) and Power Point, as well as working knowledge of Adobe and aptitude to acquire working knowledge of CMS platform as needed.
