Director, International Business Development

This person will oversee 2 zones (one mature, one emerging) to support International Business Management, Brand Development and Global meetings. Additionally, they will support a cross functional business driver / building block (can further precise this, but for example: global sampling excellence or global asset delivery excellence). 

  • Support the global strategic development of IT Cosmetics business, in line with the Brand vision and strategy & business model, ensuring both top line and profitable growth.   
  • Focus: Optimize & profitably scale the ITC brand in existing markets within their respective zones.  
  • Understanding of both the global beauty market, with deep expertise in their specific regions: consumer, trends, market dynamics, competitive set, omni retail & be capable of drawing conclusions & making recommendations accordingly.  
  • Support existing countries in operational GTM execution, promoting a digital first mindset, in partnership with Zone 
  • As needed, ensure proper launch of new markets with marketing 360 support and meet budget/trend (incl. digital asset), in line with the Zone. 
  • Help support setting up a procedure for all countries (launching the Brand) to follow as well as the internal DMI needs 
  • Help support tests in Countries for launch  
  • Within the global brand frame, identify actionable initiatives & the right business model for the region: 
  • Distribution expansion 
  • P&L understanding & regionally specific recommendations 
  • Best practice sharing  
  • Relationships and Communication:   
  • Ensure clear communication and good working relations with ALL parties (internal and external) to ensure the development of the Brand globally 
  • Ensure smooth transition and merger of the L’Oreal strengths and IT Cosmetics strengths 
  • Create a collaborative atmosphere internally & externally 


·        Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the beauty industry (with Luxury market experience) 

·        Knowledge of international markets, ideally with an international assignment  

·        Strong organizational skills 

·        Proven ability to multi-task and manage complexity 

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and against tight deadlines 

·        Must possess a strong sense of image, attention to detail  

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills  

·        Ability to interact effectively and professionally with cross-functional departments 

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
