Director of Content
At Rae, we are looking for a Director of Content to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to build our brand vibe and voice for our quickly scaling community. This role needs creative vision, collaboration skills, the ability to work with key stakeholders, and the ability to see the short-term needs against the long-term bigger picture of the Brand Strategy. We are looking for an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented strategist and executor with a strong ability to oversee Brand Content strategy across multiple channels.
This role works cross-functionally with colleagues from Product, Sales, Finance and Growth to listen to our community and understand how best to deliver on conversation. To support our ability to scale quickly, the Content Director must implement action plans with minimal direction, remain flexible in a highly dynamic environment and be an engaged partner in driving continuous improvement.
+ Create content strategies across owned, paid, and earned to achieve short and long-term business objectives
+ Work internally with design, community, growth, partnership and sales teams to deliver a multi-faceted omnichannel approach to media, our assets and voice
+ Collaborate internally and externally across teams to deliver an effective content marketing strategy, calendar, and tactical plan to meet all objectives while learning and scaling quickly
+ Drive brand awareness and brand demand through integration of content programs and ongoing optimization by listening to the qualitative and quantitative community data
+ Continually optimize our media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Email, SMS, etc.) along with our website to optimize our DTC business
+ Optimize our voice and brand flywheel to deliver an omnichannel flywheel approach to each of our priority retailers (ie Target) including their site and other assets
+ Create and maintain and integrative calendar to create efficiency as we scale
+ Write our content to ensure we continue to develop our unique voice as a differentiator in the category
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, prior experience also considered
+ Minimum 7 years experience in Brand Marketing roles
+ Ability to create, manage, and leverage systems for integrative marketing
+ Experience creating and managing asset libraries and a flywheel approach to content
+ Experience working with creatives, A list talent, producers, and editors to drive our content to best in industry
+ Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and make prudent and scalable business decisions under pressure, with limited instruction and tight timelines
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
