What would I do at Litmus?

As an Account Manager, you will build relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor, oversee their adoption of the Litmus platform, and to promote best practices to continually drive incremental value and return on their investment. Through these relationships and direct work with our customers you will be responsible for renewing customers and upselling to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.

On any given day you might:

  • Work to strengthen relationships with key decision makers by connecting their business needs and goals with Litmus core product and services 
  • Host check-in meetings with customers to demonstrate new products and features, gauging opportunities for new revenue streams
  • Use your subject matter expertise of the Litmus suite of products (and the broader email marketing ecosystem) to develop proposals and solutions that customers can’t live without
  • Maintain data integrity by accurately logging/updating daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in Salesforce 
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team to leverage our installed base, finding additional upsell opportunities across our enterprise customers 

What is Litmus looking for in a candidate?

  • Solid experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or subscription business, where you were responsible for managing customer relationships and achieving sales quotas (renewals, and upsells)
  • Impeccable customer skills with a strong sense of empathy and integrity
  • Organized, process-oriented, and analytical; an ability to identify and mitigate sales and product obstacles creatively and quickly
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding metrics and goals 
  • Hands-on CRM system experience facilitating pipeline and forecasting
  • Entrepreneurial; excited by the prospect of building a loyal customer base and hitting quarterly and annual targets
  • A bias for action; self-motivated and works well autonomously
  • Nice-to-haves but not required:
  • Experience selling into agencies and/or marketing departments of major brands, retailers, and technology companies
  • Working knowledge of the email creative process and/or where Litmus fits into the marketing technology stack
