The Account Supervisor is a critical part of the leadership team at Bernadette Davis Communications (BDC). As a small, but growing boutique communications agency, BDC serves local; regional; national; and global clients; and provides a broad range of communications services. The Account Supervisor will be responsible for the management of client accounts and leading the teams that work on each account.

Here are the key responsibilities in this role: 

Communications & PR Accounts

  • Build and maintain client relationships with a customer service mentality
  • Develop communications strategy plans, timelines and reports
  • Write and/or edit content for client communications (may include press releases; blog posts; social media posts; scripts)
  • Provide counsel and recommendations related to communications and engagement on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts
  • Engage with media on behalf of clients
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients and proactively identify and develop opportunities that help achieve client goals (may include work on employee communications; executive communications; diversity, equity and inclusion; and other topics/priorities)
  • In collaboration with the Director of Operations and Client Service, ensure the agency’s work meets our standard of service and client expectations
  • Other duties as assigned or necessitated based on client projects and agency opportunities

Event Planning

  • Able to travel – up to 50%
  • Collaborate with teams at events
  • Requires flexible creative skills, including content creation

While late hours and weekend work are rare for team members, as communicators we do sometimes have to stretch to complete projects or respond to client needs. 

This role is a full-time exempt one and includes the option of health, dental and vision benefits.

  • Prior agency experience (preferred)
